I’ve always kept a running internet blog for quite a long time. In the past, these were full on websites, back when personal websites were popular. One of these days, I’ll have to archive them all to the web for viewing as they’ve changed on numerous occasions. In the early 2000s, I switched to a BLOG format and kept that going. At the same time, I started a music reviews website, originally called Broken Spindle. It had a small group of writers and we wrote on the music we liked, or disliked. Around 2005, the interest level grew small due to other obligations and the site was unofficially retired, though the domain name which it was on, writtendiscourse.com remains active.

For 3 years, I’ve been contemplating using the writtendiscourse.com domain name for my own personal ramblings, which has been and still is on www.antsworld.net. It’s 2009, and now I’m going to set out on what I wanted to do, and using a new blog interface – WordPress.
