I found it hilarious that when Gmail.com went down earlier today, everyone went crazy. I checked facebook and the feed was going insane with people confused as what to do without gmail, and then there was the twitter madness.
If you had done a twitter search for “gmail” and opened it up you would have found thousands of twitterers posting about gmail is down, in several different languages! Even more funny, if you waited 10 seconds for the page to collect the latest tweets, it would have displayed literally over 1500 more tweets every 10 seconds. Awesome.
So what’s this mean? Has Google and gmail taken us over, where we can’t live without it?
I know I cant…
